The MD Golf Team played well on Wednesday September 19, at Cypress Links. Scoring conditions were difficult as the entire course was saturated. Our Chargers placed second and scored three points towards the season championship. Sixth grader Gage H. posted the lowest round for our team a, 33. The other three contributing scores were recorded by Will T. 35, Drew H. 35, and Luke K. 37. Come out and support us next Wednesday at Cypress Links at 3:45. The Middle Division Golf Team started its year off with a bang! The Chargers won our first match by 11 strokes over last year's season champs at Twin Brooks golf course on 9/12/12. Leading the way for the chargers was seventh grader Luke K. with a 31. Eighth grader Chris J. shot a 32 and two scores of 34 were posted by both an eighth grader Will T. and sixth grader William F. in his first match ever as a Shorecrest golfer. Our team recorded competitive rounds throughout the 9-golfer lineup. We couldn't be happier with our result and look forward to building on our accomplishment. Our next match will be held at Cypress Links at 3:45 on Wednesday 9/19/12. Come out and support out Chargers.
